The St Helena Distillery is about to release a new product from its production line, the new product will be branded as 'Jamestown Gin'
It is hoped that Jamestown Gin will be as popular as the White Lion a product that was first produced by the distillery when it first opened 2006.
The White Lion was distilled from South Africain sugar cane and mollasses where as Tungi was made from prickley pear that is grown on the Island.
Images of the new product will be available shortly.
The St Helena distillery is the only one of its kind on the Island and it is located at Donny's Bar on the seafront in Jamestown.
The St Helena distillery was opened in 2006, an it is managed and own by Mr Paul Hickling more information on the distillery can be found on the distillery website.
