St Helena is unreachable for 8 hours

Today St Helena will be almost unreachable for 8 hours because of a planned power outage that is scheduled to upgrade the only power station on the Island.

The power outage will affect the whole Island

The planned power outage will not only affect people living on St Helena but it will also affect Islanders living abroad.

All of the communications to the Island are affected.

Saint Fm the Islands only online radio station will not be streaming online via the Internet, Saint Fm is one of the most popular  communication links to the Island for saints living abroad.

During the power outage local residents will spend there time visiting friends having BBQ's and local sightseeing.

Local premiership football fans commented that they are a bit disappointed  to miss one of the biggest football matches on TV especially Liverpool verses Man united.
