Hello! I am creating a logo for the Lindsay Marsh logo project and I want to know which one looks better or how I can improve. The one on the right is more simplified which is more ideal for logos, but I like the one on the left more because it has depth. What do you guys think?
I am getting so fed up with stuff going wrong on my 2019 295rl. The tanks are reading 2/3 on gray 1, 1/3 on gray 2 and they are empty and open. Black is working fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this? TIA
🏆🏆🏆👏Ready for a student challenge? Your task is to create a portfolio or revamp a current portfolio. Your portfolio can be one of several different types.
I will review each students portfolio in a live video on Aug 29th at 12pm (EST) on my facebook page!!!! The video will be posted afterwards on youtube and facebook for those who cannot catch it live.😮😮😮
✔️First of all, you can try your hand at a traditional pdf portfolio. You can be more creative with how you lay your projects and pdf portfolios are helpful when sending proposals or featuring certain selected works.
✔️You can create a website based portfolio, I find the best web portfolios keep it simple and clean, featuring 6 or less total projects in more detail with a case study or two. Portfolio websites exuded personality, do not be afraid to show off your unique style.
✔️Another option is you can also create a portfolio on a website like behance.com or another third party website where you can post your projects.
✔️Lastly, We cannot forget instagram, do you feel like turning your Instagram account into portfolio display?
All you have to do is send me a link to your portfolio to review it live. Also, if it is a pdf portfolio you can send that to me via messenger or e-mail.
I will be coming out with a new course in the next two weeks (The Freelancing Masterclass) that walks through the creation of several of these different types of portfolios.
This will be a really engaging student review video as I hope to give honest feedback that will help others learn how to craft steller portfolios and give you some insight to what clients are looking for.
I have had to hire many creatives when working for my clients, and I learned quickly who was worth pursing further or not.
I will be posting helpful tips and advice along the way. You have three weeks to do this challenge, plenty of time to think and craft a portfolio you are happy with. Feel free to post it for feedback along the way.
